There has been a nasty bug going around Pemuteran for the past few weeks,
and unfortunately I caught it. Started out as a garden-variety cold, but just as I was starting to feel better, it morphed into a bad case of strep throat. I suffered for several days hoping my immune system would kick in and knock it out, but alas it didn’t; so finally bit the bullet and got some antibiotics. A few days later, the pain and fever were gone so started to consider going diving again. When I checked in with the pirates at Sea Rovers, I heard that a few of them were still sick, and Captain Paul was starting to feel his third relapse coming on. I decided to lay low and stay away from everyone until my course of antibiotics was finished. Hopefully everyone else will be feeling fine, and I’ll be back in the water by the end of the week. The only positive things to come out of all this downtime: I consolidated all of my images from my various computers into Lightroom on my desktop, and I finally got my domain name set up to put together this website.
